My family acquired TransPak in 1969. We were there as the Valley developed from rows of orchards into the world's technology capital. My mom ran the books, and my dad managed sales and operations. During that time, I learned about the business from the bottom up. I started as a summer intern in high school, assembling packaging in the shop.
After graduating from UC Berkeley, I moved from the shop to the office, working on everything from office administration to packaging design. I still remember bringing the first computer into our office. Since those early years, I have worked in many departments at TransPak. Following my mom’s transition in 2002 from CEO to her current role as Chairwoman, I am grateful to work with TransPak team members at 24 locations in nine countries around the globe.
In addition to my leadership role at TransPak, I love family time, skiing, and biking. I got my pilot license in 1984, and I am happiest up in the air, sharing my passion for flying with others.
