Co-owner and CEO of Schiffman’s Jewelers, a US based luxury and guild retail jewelry organization with operations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, California, and Kentucky. Through five generations, Schiffman’s is one of America’s oldest continually owned and operated family jewelry businesses.

The retail brands under his direction include Schiffman’s (3 locations: Greensboro, NC; Winston-Salem, NC; Lexington, KY), Shreve and Co. (in Palo Alto, CA), Schwarzschild (3 locations: 2 in Richmond, VA; Midlothian, VA), Sylvan’s (in Columbia, SC), Schwarzschild Keller & George (in Charlottesville, VA). He graduated from the Walker School of Business at Appalachian State University in 1986 with majors in both Marketing and Management. Lane maintains titles as a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America and Certified Gemologist with the American Gem Society. He is a former board member of Jewelers of America
