What is a Mastermind?

Benjamin Franklin is credited with creating the first Mastermind Group. His Junto was founded in Philadelphia in 1727; the first members of the group came from many different backgrounds and occupations. It was also called the Leather Apron Club because members were “doers” not mere “thinkers” or socialites. Each member was interested in learning from each other and learning how to improve their business.

Franklin is credited with creating a list of twenty-odd questions that helped guide the thinking of current and new members. At the Helix Mastermind, we have created a model of approaching personal growth and business growth that focuses on our Core Four of the Helix Formula™. Ultimately, the questions stem from two lines of inquiry. How can we improve our Health and Relationships? How can we strengthen our Business and hone our Investment Strategy.
